Karaibes Sports announces the launch of their new information football website www.karaibes-sports.com on 18th of December 2017 and is delighted to have Jocelyn Angloma as a brand ambassador. Karaibes Sports is the first football news website that aims to provide accurate and up to date information about football (soccer) in Guadeloupe, Martinique & French Guiana. The website is currently been technically tested to be the best in the world for football fans who are only interested to know the latest news, results and league ranking about the football in Guadeloupe, Martinique & French Guiana and also news of international actors who can influence the evolution and visibility of the football within those locations. 

Karaibes Sports will go one step further where football fans would be able to have live score and statistic about the players in Guadeloupe, Martinique & French Guiana. While in the past, finding a one-stop-shop for football news in Guadeloupe, Martinique & French Guiana was very difficult to do since most websites are not update with the latest technologies when it comes to providing the latest news and information, now this is no longer a problem as Karaibes Sports will bridge the gap and provide a quality content.

We are also extremely happy to sign on Jocelyn Angloma as a brand ambassador for the Karaibes Sports.


There is a very strong connect between Karaibes Sports and its brand ambassador Joselyn Angloma. Jocelyn is an icon in France football’, ‘Reliable’, and a ‘Class-above Quality’. He gained the mind of fans in France football and was regarded as the best right back of all time by the Valencians supporters and seen as a player of exceptional longevity before retiring at the age of 37 years. After his professional career, Jocelyn contributed heavily to the football in Guadeloupe. He played for an amateur football club “Étoile de Morne-à-l'Eau”, and national football team of Guadeloupe. 

With his talent, he contributed to the qualification of Guadeloupe football team, playing the Caribbean Cup of Nations (Digicel Cup 2007), where the selection finishes 4th and qualifies for the Gold Cup. He also becomes champion of Guadeloupe 2007 with his club of “Étoile de Morne-à-l'Eau”. He also played in the Gold Cup in 2007 at the United States where Guadeloupe qualified for the semifinal by beating Honduras (2-1) with a goal from Angloma. He then retired as a player after the competition at 41 years.

Jocelyn ANGLOMA played 37 times for France between 1990 and 1996, scoring one goal. Angloma was part of the squad at Euro 92 and Euro 96.  Honors : 3 ESM Team of the Year, 2 leagues winners, 1 UEFA Champion League, 1 Copa Del Rey, 1 Supercopa de Espana, 1 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, 1 UEFA European Championship Team of the Tournament. 

Angloma coached his training club, “Étoile de Morne-à-l'Eau” from 2009 to 2015, with which he won the Guadeloupe Football Cup in 2015. He is also assistant coach of the Guadeloupe team of football.


Karaibes Sports launched on the 18th December will be purely focusing on the Guadeloupe. This will provide Karaibes Sports a platform that it can present and demo to the various stakeholders ahead of a full rollout.
