Jim Pendleton is an author who is fascinated by WWII and the heroes who stood tall during that time in our history. His fictional novel, The Special chronicles the life of his uncle Billy who served in WWII. He recently granted an interview to talk about his work, his writing process and more. About the author: J.E. Pendleton is 68 years old, born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He is married to Nancy who is the wing beneath Jim’s writing wings as she transcribes his notes and helps him with preliminary editing. They have with three children and six grand kids. “Being the first born of a WW II Marine, I have always been fascinated with that war. In my younger years I was an active SCCA and GVRA road racer winning several championships. I have had a life-long love affair with cars, motorcycles, and airplanes.”  The Special is a tribute to his long lost uncle who died in WWII and all the people that loved him.
