CHAM Mercy Mobile Gets Help and Takes Supplies with Strength to Homeless on Streets of San Jose, CA

San Jose CA - February 8, 2016  Nearly a Hundred Volunteers from Santa Clara University, Bellarmine College Prep, San Jose State University, and Council Member Ash Kalra's office, along with dozens of Churches, have been voluntarily assisting CHAM Deliverance Ministry in supporting the Mercy Mobile with an urgent effort to help the homeless and poor people on the streets of San Jose California.

In the last three months, CHAM’s Mercy Mobile, has passed out thousands of blankets, hundreds of sleeping bags, given out clothing, hygiene kits, shoes, tarps, tents and other necessities along with providing and serving hundreds of meals to the homeless on the streets of San Jose CA. This winter has been exceptionally harsh with El Nino rains and cold. There are those who have already died on the streets this winter and Pastor Scott Wagers is encouraging more people to get involved in the outreach.

The Mercy Mobile is the brainchild of Pastor Scott Wagers who is the founder of CHAM Deliverance Ministry. (CHAM is an abbreviation for Community Homeless Alliance Ministry.) Pastor Scott has been committed to the call of God on his life, to help the least of his brothers and sisters, for over 20 years. The recently acquired Mercy Mobile has been serving up hope on the streets for about six months. CHAM is seeking more supplies and well as ongoing support for the cause and current mission, to help the poor people within the San Jose community. The group plans on keeping this important work going and is asking for volunteers and donations. Those who wish to donate may do so by visiting

Donations are also accepted via post at::CHAM Deliverance Ministry, 304 N. 6th St. San Jose, CA 95112.
