Jason Wize Shares Marketing Ideas at Tanzanian Honorary Consuls Meeting

Washington, D.C. – During this year's annual review meeting for the Republic of Tanzania (held at the Republic's Embassy in Washington, D.C.), the Honorary Consul to Tanzania, Mr. Robert Shumake, invited Jason Wize to participate in discussions revolving around the ongoing efforts by Tanzania to grow international trade with the U.S., and to develop new and creative business opportunities for enterprises in both countries.

Wize was invited to take part in the review and discussions due to his highly regarded level of expertise in marketing, advertising and digital media.  “It is beyond an honor to be invited to take part in discussions of this magnitude,” said Wize.  “I thank Honorary Consul Robert Shumake for the most generous invitation to participate in the conversation.  I felt extremely comfortable with everything we discussed.  I believe that there are tremendous opportunities for both countries to prosper even more.  I’m so grateful to make a small contribution.”

During the meeting, a number of presentations were made; with the primary theme being a focus on the best practices that can be initiated in order to increase Tanzania's annual tourism numbers.  Liberata Mulamula, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to the U.S. & Mexico, hosted the Washington D.C. event at the Tanazanian Embassy, also referred to as Tanzania House.  Following the annual review meeting, embassy officials were joined by Tanzania's former President, Ali Hassan Mwinyi, who gave a rousing speech to attendees and the media.  “In sharing my experiences and insights from my many years of marketing, this was more than another business meeting, this may well be a major piece in the puzzle that leads to the economic prosperity of a country and its people,” Wize beamed.  “It’s very exciting!”
