Team Bugstoppper – Providing Termite & Pest Control Services Since 1986

Advanced Services has been offering pest control services in the CSRA area since 1986, and Vice President Bo Thomas said the company is now the premier pest control service in the area.

The company has 25 certified technicians on staff who are, “probably the most trained and certified staff in the CSRA," Thomas said.

Advanced Services employs four Associate Certified Entomologists, or “bug scientists,” as Thomas calls them. A “bug scientist” is the highest level of certification for those who haven’t gotten a degree yet, he said.

Advanced Services has won the Better Business Bureau Torch Award twice for business ethics in the CSRA area, and the business is growing by "leaps and bounds," so much so that it is looking to grow in different market areas, Thomas said.

There are six core values that Advanced Services trains on: honesty and integrity, hard work, teamwork, high performance, continual self-improvement and community involvement.

Thomas said Advanced Services is an open-book management company, meaning the company shows its financial statements to its technicians to make better business decisions.

Thomas said there is room for advancement in the company, so Advanced Services is currently in a hiring phase looking for three new technicians.

"I can attest to that," he said, as he started out as a termite tech and is now vice president.

Advanced Services offers a full benefits package, and Thomas said that applicants don't need to have experience, they just need to be able to align with the six core values.

Advanced Services offers pest and termite control, mosquito control and nuisance and wildlife trapping. It also offers attic insulation that doubles as pest control.
