Galaxy Glow Stars is a new toy company founded in 2016 by a husband and wife duo. They both loved the simple vintage glow in the dark stars they enjoyed as children but wanted to add a little bit of astronomy to the mix. They added a visually stimulating constellation guide that is an excellent way to introduce astronomy and science to kids of all ages.

Galaxy glow in the dark stars come in a cute little box and has a perfect price point that hits below fifteen dollars. Normally it is priced between $17.99 to $24.99. It includes a constellation guide and storage bag for the stars. Parents and teachers can use star events as learning activities at home or in the classroom. This makes Galaxy Glow in the Dark Stars a perfect educational and fun gift for a birthday or to use for learning. These glow in the dark stars also make an excellent bedroom décor idea!

May has several sky events. Here are a few to start some projects for your kids at home or in the classroom! Use these events to highlight the constellations closest to these planets and other celestial objects.

1. May 10th the Full Milk eclipse Moon; also know as the Flowering Moon and the Full Corn-planting Moon always shines in or near the stars around the constellation Libra. It rises around sunset and sets around sunrise. This is the only night in the month of May the Moon will be in the sky all night long.

2. May 11th there will be a double shadow transit on Jupiter. The shadows of lo and Europa; two of it's moons will briefly cross the planet at the same time. Lo is the most volcanically active world in the solar system. Europa an icy moon and slightly smaller than Earth's moon.

3. May 13th -14th the Moon will meet Saturn. Early hours of May 13th the waning gibbous moon will sit 7 degrees to the upper right of Saturn in the southeastern sky. The pair will move above the southern horizon by dawn. The following day, the moon will jump to Saturn's left.
