Bellevue, Washington, United States of America—Nov 4, 2015—Parent Coach International announces that PCI Certified Parent Coach® Muna Awad has been selected as the company’s exclusive representative in Jordan and the Middle East. Muna, a PCI Certified Parent Coach® is also a member of Parent Coach International’s Advisory Board.
Ms. Awad has had a varied career, demonstrating her wide interests and skills. She began her career in teaching English as a second language, then worked as a Kindergarten homeroom teacher at an international school. Completing her MA degree in Education at Bath University in England provided her an opportunity to cement the vision of how parents, teachers and communities can positively support children in their life education.
Muna has recently been interviewed about her new position. She claims much excitement for helping to grow PCI's parent coaching programs for family support professionals in the Middle East region. She sees a great need for compassionate, supportive coaches who know child and adolescent development and are skilled in helping moms and dads solve their parenting challenges.
Muna believes, “It is very important for us to differentiate ourselves from the popular 'coaches' who claim to create miracles with the limited education they get. Parent Coach International is a serious institution, which provides a comprehensive, graduate level education and methodology. Through the PCI Coaching Model™ moms and dads find their authoritative voice—that kind, yet firm parental voice. In this way, parents can take the necessary leadership their children actually need, and in that process increase their effectiveness and influence with their children, as well.”
Parent Coach International was founded by CEO, Gloria DeGaetano in 2011 as a way to provide Parent Coach Certification® Training to family support professionals worldwide as part of the extension of the well-established, highly acclaimed Parent Coaching Institute. Ms. DeGaetano initiated the parent coaching industry in 2000 with the establishment of the Parent Coaching Institute. The esteemed PCI parent coaching program has grown globally and can now be found in 20 countries including the United Kingdom, Poland, China, Thailand, and India.
