to Host a Seminar on Controlling Microbial Levels in Pharmaceutical Water Systems to Host a Seminar on Controlling Microbial Levels in Pharmaceutical Water Systems

New York: March 11, 2016 – announced the agenda for the In-person Seminar  to be held in San Francisco, beginning on April 28, 2016, through April 29, 2016, at the Courtyard San Francisco Downtown.

The Seminar titled “The A to Z's of Microbial Control, Monitoring and Validation of Water Systems for Pharmaceuticals, Biologics, Medical Devices, Cosmetics, and Personal Care Products” will cover how, where and why of microbial monitoring specifically designed for managers, supervisors, and operatives taking on new responsibilities related to water.

The course will be led by the renowned speaker, T.C. Soli—a Ph.D. Microbiologist and President of Soli Pharma Solutions Inc, who has served consumer products and FDA-regulated industries with training and troubleshooting expertise. He will draw on his 25+ years of pharmaceutical experience to discuss the challenges of controlling biofilm development in water systems.

“Of all the individuals at the facility, it is site’s microbiologists who should understand the microorganisms in water systems and how best to monitor and control them. Sadly, this is often not the case due to the lack of familiarity with biofilm and its impact on water system sampling, testing, sanitization, and routine maintenance,” T.C. Soli said.

The event provides an opportunity for microbiology laboratory supervisors and analysts to share information about water sampling and testing. Process and utility engineers will learn proven strategies for water system maintenance, troubleshooting, and excursion mitigation.

The focus of this Seminar is to help prepare for a successful water system inspection by FDA or other regulators. To be conducted over a two-day span, topics include:

Ø    Water System biofilm control by design & operation

Ø    How sanitants work (or don’t work)

Ø    Basic ground rules for water systems before you validate them

Ø    Where does endotoxin come from and how to get rid of it

Ø    How to reduce water microbial excursions and improve investigations

Ø    Guarding against common pharmaceutical water system inspection pitfalls

In addition, the session will use water system contamination case studies to give an idea of possible root causes. specializes in GRC training solutions covering 12 diverse channels. The overall intent of this Pharma Seminar is to address microbial enumeration issues with high purity water systems. Attendees will have answers to water system myths and sanitization failure related questions.

Registration will be closed approximately one week before the date of the event. Seating is limited and the event will not be webcast.
