Boston, MA - September, 12, 2017— DGC (DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP) is proud to welcome Elisabeth O’Toole da Silva, CPA, CFF and Robert Temkin, CPA, CFF to the firm. da Silva and Temkin join an already robust Business Advisory practice at DGC, and bring significant depth and breadth of experience working on high profile disputes. Together they built a successful litigation consulting and investigative firm that serviced privately-held and publicly-traded businesses across a variety of industries. da Silva will join DGC as a partner and Temkin will join as a senior advisor.

With over 25 years of litigation consulting, fraud investigations, and financial statement auditing experience, da Silva has testified as an accounting expert at trial, arbitration, and deposition for privately-owned and publicly-traded entities, as well as on behalf of the Securities and Exchange Commission. She advises legal counsel, management, and boards of directors on accounting, financial, and internal control matters in the context of internal investigations, securities fraud litigation, acquisition and ownership contract disputes, crisis management, financial reporting, and internal audit.

Temkin has over 40 years of accounting and auditing experience, 26 of them as a partner at Ernst & Young (EY). He has testified in federal and state courts as an accounting and auditing expert witness in high profile litigation cases related to financial statement fraud, accountant’s malpractice, and securities class action claims. Temkin is also an experienced arbitrator having analyzed and concluded several accounting related disputes.  Temkin is the former Chairman of the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy and also held many regional and national roles while a partner at EY.
