Outskirts Press Announces the Release of New Biography: The Restless Richies—How We Survived 100 Cruises and Assorted World Travels by Douglas Richie

December 20, 2017 – Denver, CO and San Diego, CA – Outskirts Press—the fastest-growing, full-service self-publishing and book marketing company—is pleased to announce the release of a fun new biography by Douglas Richie: The Restless Richies: How We Survived 100 Cruises and Assorted World Travels.

When Annie and Doug Richie took their first cruise—to Mallorca, Spain—after 15 years of marriage, they knew they had caught a bad case of the travel bug. Now over 100 cruises later, they share their recipe for a long, happy life together: a willingness to take risks, a sense of humor, and a sense of anticipation that comes from discovering new places and meeting new people.

The Richies are now in their late eighties and have enjoyed several land tours and over 100 cruises, and their courage and willingness to explore new territories is one of the many reasons they are still together. The Restless Richies explains how travel added excitement and romance to one couple’s 69 years of marriage. And their new book encourages others to experience the joy that travel can bring!
