FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Professor and Rehabilitation Counselor Jean Farish, Ph.D. Contributes a Chapter to a Revolutionary New Book Series.

EUGENE, OREGON July 26, 2016— In the new book, Life SPARKS (Edition #1), Jean Farish, Ph.D. shares how a transformational dream led her out of her spiritual depression.

In a story titled, “Coloring Life with a Spirit of Gratitude,” Jean recounts the pivotal experience that enabled her to begin anew and to heal herself by supplanting negative thoughts with positive ones of love, peace, joy and harmony. This enabled her to remember heart-warming experiences that resurrected her spirit and allowed her to see all of life’s splendid colors once again. This story will speak to anyone who has stumbled off their life’s path and is looking to find that sense of awe, we all too often forget.

Jean says, ““I am the seasoned traveler of the labyrinth. Losing my way and finding my way. Traveling on the beaten path and the road less traveled, eventually finding my way home to the place of spiritual rest and fulfillment.”

Jean Farish, Ph.D., has served as a university administrator, professor, and rehabilitation counselor. As a self-help author, her six month tenure at Universiti Sains Malaysia, in Penang, was a pivotal juncture on her transformational journey. Her immersion in an Oriental culture, awakened her to the true essence of life and divine love—creative talents expanded as she traveled to remote villages and indigenous communities. Driven by her mission for service, she uses her skills and talents to make a difference in the lives of people, through personal development and community enrichment classes. Jean knows that life challenges with valuable lessons continue to inspire her own transformational journey, as she helps others become more insightful and introspective. Her deepest desire is to serve humanity in both grand and simple ways—on a higher spiritual level. She is the founder of PEP (Personal Enhancement Project) Angels for children hospitalized with cancer.

Compiled by Tami Blodgett and Denise Beins, edited by Judy Dippel, and published by Luminare Press, Life SPARKS (Edition #1) will change the way readers look at themselves and the world around them. LifeSPARKS programs support authors by coaching them through the process of writing. Stories are published in a safe and supportive community. At the same time, contributing authors are prepared about how their story, and who they are, complements their business—which in-turn allows them to be readily known, seen and heard by a broader audience.
