Apr 16, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- VoteSimonOff.com is a new website designed for fans of the television show, American Idol. This season, America's newest phenomenon is Sanjaya Malakar. Whether it's his hair, his singing voice, or whether every Indian in the world is calling in to vote for him, he has everyone talking. Simon Cowell, the acerbic judge on American Idol, has publicly stated that if Sanjaya wins, he won't return to the show. Everyone knows that will never happen, but Simon creates as much controversy and emotion as Sanjaya. So, why not let the American public decide if Simon stays or goes (at least theoretically)? American Idol built its popularity on letting "America" cast their votes. In its case, people vote for their favorite contestant. But, no one gets to vote on the judges. VoteSimonOff.com allows everyone to vote for (or against) their favorite judge - Simon Cowell. The site has a poll and people can vote once a day. In addition, clips of Sanjaya's latest performances are available, as well as links to other American Idol-related sites. Sanjaya or Simon? Who will be left standing? "America, cast your vote." About VoteSimonOff.com: Created last week, VoteSimonOff.com is a website that provides a humorous view of this season's latest controversy. It is purely a site of folly that people will enjoy visiting during the American Idol season. Contact: Robert Smith
