After days of testimony and almost seven hours of deliberations, a Calvert County, Maryland jury returned a verdict of $1,370,025.25 at approximately 11:30 pm on Friday, June 2, 2006. Ms. Terri Andersen suffered permanent injuries in a 2002 car crash, Calvert County, MD - - - June 5, 2006 - - - After days of testimony and almost seven hours of deliberations, a Calvert County, Maryland jury returned a verdict of $1,370,025.25 at approximately 11:30 pm on Friday, June 2, 2006. Ms. Terri Andersen suffered permanent injuries in a 2002 car crash, she required multiple surgeries, and she will continue to require medical care for the rest of her life. Prior to suit being filed, the Plaintiff offered to settle for the Defendant’s policy limits of $100,000.00 Until two weeks before the trial, the defendant’s insurance carrier, State Farm Insurance Company, only offered $9,000.00 to resolve the case. “The Jury in this matter worked extremely hard to come to the right decision.
