Ho Chi Minh City,  -- /prbuzz/ -- TRG International was last night named as one of Vietnam’s 50 best employers at an awards ceremony held at Ho Chi Minh City’s Legend Hotel.

The survey, carried out by the Navigos Group and AC Nielsen, was conducted via online surveys designed to assess employee satisfaction in areas such as communications, salary, and training/development, and was the first of its kind in Vietnam. The 50 companies awarded were not ranked, so all were equal winners.

At the ceremony, Mr Pham Hong Thai, Deputy General Director of TRG International, was presented with the award by Mr Lung (Deputy Director of Press & Publication), Mr Thong (Deputy Editor of Thanh Nien newspaper) and Mr Jonah Levey (Chairman of Navigos Group).

Mr Colin Tang, HR Director of Intel and head of the survey’s audit panel, made a speech congratulating the 50 companies, and said he hoped that the award would encourage Vietnamese businesses to continually monitor their HR practices and create better workplaces for their employees.

The award reflects the importance TRG International places on its most important assets, its employees, as well as the key role employees play in the company’s corporate culture. Despite being honoured as one of the Top 50, TRG will not rest on its laurels but will seek further improvements throughout 2007 via the expansion of its HR team and the introduction of Profiles HR management and coaching tools.
