Congregation of 35 Car Brands. Plenty of exciting activities.
29 November to 10 December, 2007 at IMPACT Challenger 1-3, Muang Thong Thani

Inter-Media Consultant confirms readiness of the “24th THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO” at IMPACT Challenger 1-3, Muang Thong Thani to be held during 29 November to 10 December, 2007, in awesome grandeur and with a great variety of car brands participating under the theme concept of “Future Vehicles Stun the World”.

Organizing Chairman Kwanchai Paphatphong said, “This is manifestation of MOTOR EXPO success throughout the past 23 consecutive years. Especially this year with adverse economic situation and external factors affecting consumer buying decision, yet the MOTOR EXPO is still participated by as many as 35 brands, reaffirming their confidence and trust in the EXPO”.

In alphabetical order, the makes of cars participating in the “24th THAILAND INTERNATIONAL MOTOR EXPO 2007” run as follows.
ASTON MARTIN, AUDI, BMW, BUGATTI, CHEVROLET, CHRYSLER, CITROEN, FERRARI, FORD,
GRAND CARRYBOY, HONDA, HUMMER, HYUNDAI, ISUZU, KIA, LAMBORGHINI, LORINSER, LOTUS, MAZDA, MERCEDES-BENZ, MINI, MITSUBISHI, MTM, NISSAN, PEUGEOT, PORSCHE, PROTON, SKODA, SPYKER, SSANGYONG, SUBARU, SUZUKI, TOYOTA, VOLKSWAGEN and VOLVO.

Sports cars are indispensable to any motor show, and prominent sports cars that you can feast your eyes upon in the EXPO this year include the thoroughbred sports coupe Aston Martin DB 9 Vanquish from England, the mighty Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari 430 Scuderia—a special series based on the 430 model which has been around since the end of 2004, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera—lighter and a bit more oomph than standard Gallardo, Lotus Exige S British GT, Porsche 911 GT3—unveiled in February 2006 at the Geneva Motor Show, and Spyker C8 Spyder.

Other activities in the 24th Motor Expo include:

• Vintage Car Exhibition
The Vintage Car Club of Thailand together with the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand (RAAT) under Royal Patronage will put up an exhibition of vintage cars along the concept of “Stun the World” to illustrate that vehicles in the past could indeed stun the world no less than future vehicles. The exhibition will feature nearly 10 cars such as Jaguar SK 120 from England which were in the assembly line over a long period of time and Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gull Wing from Germany. The Club will also provide presenters to give information on each car—a change in format that would surely entertain as well as better inform visitors about the cars on display.

• "MOTOR EXPO DESIGN AWARD 2007"
Inter-Media Consultant will collaborate with the Department of Product Design, Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, the Department of Industrial Arts, Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and the Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalonkorn University to jointly organize "THE 8th MOTOR EXPO DESIGN AWARD 2007". The event is sponsored by Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Kiatnakin Bank Public Company Limited and Necvox International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The contest is divided into 2 categories, namely car design under the topic “Future vehicles stun the world” and exterior body kit design without structural change for Mitsubishi New Lancer in the style of circuit racing. The prizes are trophies of honour plus up to 100,000 Baht of education funds.

• The Thai arts, culture and national identity ground
Society of Thai Arts, Culture and National Identity will organize activities in honour of the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 80th Birthday and stage performances of Thai classical music and fusion arts by pupils and students from various educational institutes in the country, with the objectives of inheriting, preserving and promoting Thai arts and culture. The performances will take place between 1500-1800 hrs. everyday during the EXPO.

• MOTOR EXPO Young Artists
Display area for creative works of young (6-12 years old) artists who dare to think and express themselves in competition. Also on display will be the works of art by children who exercise their creative thinking along the concept “Future Vehicles Stun the World”.

• EXPO of Pre-owned Cars
TOYOTA SURE / BMW PREMIUM SELECTION / CHEVY OK / ID1 (MERCEDES-BENZ) and MINI NEXT
will put on a sale of quality pre-owned cars and give instant price assessment of old cars for those who want to buy new cars in the Expo.

• Workshop on “Safe Knowledgeable Driving”
Inter-Media Consultant will hold a workshop for visitors on car maintenance, tyre inspection and first aid. There will be 4 stations on 1) self assessment of driving efficiency using simulator, 2) eye check while driving; 3) basic knowledge of engine and tyre change; and 4) first aid demonstration.

• Buy a Car Win a Car/ Buy a Ticket Win a Car/ SMS to Win a Car/ Buy a commodity to win Navigator boat
For every 100,000 Baht worth of car buying / booking in the Expo, you will get a coupon to contest for the prize of a HONDA CR-V 2.0 i-Vtec worth 1,180,000 Baht. Purchasing Expo admission ticket and filling in a simple questionnaire entitles you to contest for a SUBARU IMPREZA worth 1,120,000 Baht. Send an SMS from your mobile phone in “SMS to Win a Car” and stand a chance of winning a MISUBISHI LANCER RALLIART worth 825,000 Baht. And for every 1,000 Baht of commodity purchase in the Expo you stand a chance of winning a NAVIGATOR boat from a total of 36 boats worth 538,200 Baht.

• MOTOR EXPO SMART PRETTY CONTEST 2007
Inter-Media Consultant together with Advance Info Service PLC. will organize a contest of car company pretty presenters under the concept “SWEET, SEDUCTIVE, SPECTACULAR”, through SMS voting by visitors and fans. The voting will take place during November 15 – December 31, 2007 and the result will be shown in real time on the websites of Inter-Media Consultant and AIS. The pretty receiving the highest votes will win a return air ticket Bangkok – Switzerland to visit the Geneva Motor Show, and the top 20 vote casters can join a specially organized private party with the pretties.

• Rally in homage of "5th December the Great King"
The Royal Automobile Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage (RAAT) together with Inter-Media Consultant will organize a rally contesting for the King’s Cup. The rally is in homage of “5th December the Great King” on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 80th Birthday and will take place on Tuesday 5, December 2007 along the route Nonthaburi – Ayuthya – Nonthaburi. Proceeds will be donated to charity.

• SPIRIT OF THE 4x4 DRIVING SCHOOL
We provide a standard 10,000 sq. m. 4-wheel training ground next to the roundabout on exit to Chaeng Wattana road in front of Challenger 1, with realistic mocking up of natural off-road trail divided into 7 learning stations. These comprise alternate wheel sliding rails/ left sideling / right sideling/ alternate wheel bridge/ rocky path/ high bridge and alternating planes. There is also an abbreviated training course in both theoretical and practical aspects by expert instructors. In addition, several car companies and equipment vendors such as Difflock have made an arrangement with us for intending buyers of 4x4 vehicles or equipment in the Expo to test them out before deciding to buy. At the ground there will also be a gathering of those who have undergone training at SPIRIT OF THE 4x4 DRIVING SCHOOL.

• CAR STEREO ALLEY
An important gathering of over 100 cars equipped with exciting sound systems plus shows by young and pretty coyote girls and lots of activities.

• CAR STEREO ACTIVITIES
Wondrous light, colour and sound display of cars equipped with powerful sound system from leading sound
companies.

• MOTOR SPORT 2007
Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. together with Visionex M and A Co., Ltd. will stage a display of customized / modified cars with a stress on wide body conversion from various styling houses both domestic and foreign. See racing cars from leading teams and drift cars at the top of their genre. Each day there will be some professional racing drivers dropping by to give tips on driving and proper modification for power.


• CAR CLUB MEETING
A get-together of members of several car clubs to meet and exchange their experiences at the Drop Off area in front of Challenger Level 2. The schedule is as follows. November 29 – MINI Society Club. November 30 – VOLVO Club Thailand. December 1 – HONDA JAZZ Club Thailand. December 2 – Siam SUBARU Society. December 4 – MIATA Club of Thailand. December 5: HYUNDAI Club. December 7 -- NISSAN TEANA Club. December 8 – MITSUBISHI Club. December 9 – TOYOTA YARIS Club. December 10 – Vintage and Classic cars by Vintage Car Club of Thailand.
