Opening Act Kicked off Show at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre

Chicago Singer Terisa Griffin, opening act is brought to a stunning hault.

Chicago, IL August 14, 2007—Retro Soul singer Terisa Griffin was permanently removed as the opening act for the August 15, 2007 show at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Starling Heights Michigan. The Management of the famed headliner, Natalie Cole, decided approximately a week before the show that Ms. Griffin would no longer able to open for the singer. Negating all contractual agreements, Brian Rucker of Wasserman Media Group and Natalie Cole’s management pulled the plug on Terisa without any other explanation besides the headliner no longer wanting her as an opening act. “ I would like my fans who have bought tickets to know that this was not my personal decision but an unforeseen circumstance.” Tersia notes.

Terisa has honored her 90 days, 100 miles radius non-compete clause, forcing her not to schedule any performances within the Detroit area. Brian Rucker, has not responded to Griffins camp regarding recourse for the breach of contract. “ I truly appreciate the support of radio for their due diligence and understanding during this trying time, however my hands are tied” Terisa states. Terisa looks forward her continued relationship with the local radio stations and other promoters in the Detroit Metro Area.

Terisa Griffin a singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. She moved to Chicago and found several opportunities, putting her in the right place at the right time. She constantly sells out of local nightclubs and other venues in the United States, and currently is becoming an international star. Born in Lousiana, Terisa was raised in a musically inclined family, her talent is definitely a inherited gift.
