GOLDEN, CO - - Table Mountain Innovation, Inc. has created a new product, the SpiderStick, to provide a more safe and effective method to capture and dispose of insects in the home and workplace.
The SpiderStick is a cross between a fly swatter, a strip of fly paper, and a plastic ruler. The product has an adhesive end that easily can be accessed by peeling off a protective label. The user sticks this adhesive end to the insect, which leaves no residue on the surface. The SpiderStick is a biodegradable product and is meant to be disposed of after use.
As a father with asthmatic children at home, the inventor Chris Crowley could not use poisons or sprays to get rid of insects, so he designed the SpiderStick as the solution. Other advantages of the product include no insect marks left on walls, no pesticides, and ease of use, even for children.
The SpiderStick is intended to help households and businesses run more efficiently. It is highly beneficial in the Southern states, where the warmer climates promote insects year-round.
