“Three Simple Words Every Little Girl Needs to Know & HipPurse LLC is Making Sure of It”

Oct 03, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --September 20, 2007, Rocky Hill, CT – HipPurse LLC has announced today they will be producing a “Hands-Off” HipPurse™ Collection targeting girls from ages seven to thirteen. The collection was established for young girls to have fun with fashion, while at the same time, conveying a positive message of self-love. In addition, the purse (worn on their body) is a constant reminder to protect their body.

HipPurse LLC is well aware of the fact that about 1 in 3 female high school students have been, or will be, in an abusive relationship. The Company is committed to reducing these alarming statistics. Ladene Paulino, President of the company, states, “The goal is to assist in teaching young girls self-protection and to have them engage in the pledge to protect their bodies at this critical, young age. It’s our mission to make sure they’re continually reminded of that power within. Ideally, we want them to lead a fulfilling life and not to become part of these statistics!”

The Hands-Off Logo will be branded on every HipPurse™ in this collection. The hands represent STOP or NO and the heart, which is formed by positioning the thumbs together, represents self-love. Each purse will include a “Certificate of Strength” that the child is to sign and hang on their wall. The certificate contains messages that will boost self-esteem and stand as a constant reminder to not let anyone treat them badly, in any manner. Additionally, the purses will come with a “Power Badge” that can be left in the purse and used as a shield, so-to-speak.

The company will introduce the first style of the collection called “Courage” in late October. The Courage HipPurse™ will contain heart shaped jewels that will represent the core of that message. In addition, there will be many more collectable jewels and styles to follow.

HipPurse LLC is donating a percentage of proceeds from this collection to The Children’s Home in CT, The Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburg, The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation and Operation Smile.
