Sekurus International launches wireless transportation services

Sekurus' latest release includes new and enhanced services, such as Route Schedule Adherence, to help trucking and transportation companies improve the quality of their service and save significant operating costs.

The service is being deployed on the recently announced Vehicle Tracking Service provided by Sekurus’ exclusive independent distribution partner in Saudi Arabia (Sequr ME) that focuses on service companies specializing in bank loans, Rent-a-Car , transportation, delivery and logistics, enabling full control over fleet movement, automatic vehicle location, and mapping among many other services.
Most noteworthy of the new services is Route Schedule Adherence, which allows transportation organizations to track how well vehicles adhere to planned schedules. Route schedules built using a transportation company's in-house planning system are easily uploaded to Sekurus' Tracking Solution Server. Once completed, automatic alerts are generated whenever vehicles deviate from plan.
Notifications such as 'Behind-Schedule' or 'Stopped-Too-Long' are sent via email or SMS including a link for Web enabled Mobile Devices.
'Our schedule adherence functionality will help us capture and log even greater market share in the growing Automatic Vehicle Location market and is a critical component in any trucking or transportation organization,' he added.

Improved Driver Log functionality - support for checking DOT compliance remotely at the vehicle MDT, as well as via the Sekurus's Tracking Server.

Report Enhancements - add new graphical formats and improved vehicle status data.

New Tamper Proof features - The Sekurtrack fleet Locator and server support the sending of alerts when the Tampered with or disconnected.

Landmark enhancements - including the ability to upload Landmarks, and assign different Landmark icons.
New low-cost Mobile Data Terminal and peripherals - The MDT supports and voice communication inputs and output.
