SAMI Collaborates with Coachella Valley Autism Society of America to Provide Services for Families

Hermosa Beach, CA (October 23, 2007) – The Stress & Anger Management Institute (SAMI) will be presenting a stress management workshop to families of the Coachella Valley Autism Society of America. The CVASA provides families and individuals of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds who want to become educated about autism spectrum disorder a reliable network.

The collaboration between SAMI and CVASA will initiate at The Hotel Las Palmas in Palm Springs, CA. on November 04, 2007 at 1404 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA. 92262
Developmental disabilities can create stress and anger issues for the individual and their families. The focus of SAMI's program with www.CVASA.org families will be to identify potential communication problems, understand nonverbal communication cues, help families to recognize and normalize anger as well as find acceptable ways to channel the individual expression of anger, and eliminate or minimize
