2000 years ago Jesus stated that in the end many will call his name and proclaim him as their savor only to find that what they were led to believe was based on false beliefs.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23
Back in the day when Jesus walked in world he was very clear that what was being taught by many was far from the truth. He even went so far as to call the powers that be hypocrites.
Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. Luke 11;52.
According to the message contained in Prophet or Madman what most have come to accept as truth is the same distorted message that Christ referred to in the preceding passage. On numerous occasions Jesus made reference to having the eyes to see and the ears to hear. He was in fact, suggesting that mankind view things not from the physical but rather from the spiritual view. Unfortunately for most people in this world, they have never been taught to open their spiritual eyes. It was because of this that Bruce Adams was sent into this world by the same Father that sent his brother Jesus.
