After cutting ties with her first publisher, the author of the best-selling The Price of Love and For the Love of Kira has kept a low profile during most of the year. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t kept busy. In fact, the talented go-getter is eagerly awaiting a much-anticipated release.

“I’m extremely excited about the upcoming release of Jinger With A J. Like all of my books, it’s a story I wrote from the heart. I waited awhile to have it published, and my readers were so eager to read it,” Ms. Rashard explains. “Eventually, I realized I couldn’t make the folks who’d supported me wait anymore.”

Rashard offered Jinger as a free read for a short time. But her skillfully woven tale of modern love and treachery was destined to find a publisher.

When asked about her plans for the future, she becomes cagey.

“I’m always working on something, but I prefer not to talk about my plans until they’re written in stone. Right now, I’m enjoying the summer with my family. I’m enjoying life in general.”
