Sponsors will also be publicized in all emails and publicity campaigns surrounding the recipe contest which began January 1, 2008.

The idea to obtain the largest collection of recipes from around the world has resulted in the need for a contest in order to obtain the quantity of recipes needed. The Rebasrebates.com website was originaly set up to provide rebates and rebate information to consumers. The owner decided to not be involved in the rebate business and by that time, the traffic was enough on the website that changing the name would result in a significant loss of traffic. So it was decided to keep the name and focus on recipes, search engine optimization, discontinued china, pottery and earthenware, free games and software and recipe contests. Working to create the largest collection of world recipes is no easy task and will probably take a couple of years.
