Laguna Hills, CA – August 23, 2007 – This fall, Stampington & Company (publisher of Somerset Studio®, a leading paper and mixed-media art magazine) will be releasing the premier issues of two new special publications exploring popular crafting trends. On September 1st, a holiday-themed magazine entitled Somerset Holidays & Celebrations will hit the newsstands, featuring fresh crafting ideas for all types of celebrations. October 1st marks the release of Sew Somerset, a publication that focuses on the incorporation of stitching into mixed-media art projects.

Somerset Holidays & Celebrations delves into the artistic side of holiday events, inspiring readers to make their own personalized gifts, cards and decorations to share with family and friends. Due to the popularity of holiday crafting and Somerset Studio’s artistic approach to crafting, newsstand distributors anticipate this magazine to be one of Stampington & Company’s best selling publications. Somerset Holidays & Celebrations has been added to the regular Stampington & Company production schedule and will be available annually in September.

Sew Somerset discovers the latest trend in crafting – integrating stitched and sewn elements into all types of mixed-media projects. This special magazine bridges the gap between traditional sewing publications and those focusing solely on paper-crafting, inviting readers of both types of publications to explore a new way to add dimension to their crafting.
