Los Angeles, CA-USA
Women searching for a beauty salon or hair salon on google.com, yahoo.com or msn.com have inevitably come across www.findabeautysalon.com a top ranked website for beauty salons online. The site which indexes hair salons from all over the country allowing its visitors to locate a salon closest to them and also to rate the quality of service there receives over 100,000 unique visits per month. Until recently the site has been in its beta phase allowing any hair salon that wanted to sign up and list its address and services to do so free of charge.
Beginning in September all of this will change as the website has been redesigned for its official launch.
“We’ve spent the past year testing the waters, finding the best ways to serve our visitors” said Adir Levy the 26 year old Internet mogul and creator of Findabeautysalon.com. “Now we are ready to launch with several new features that our visitors have been requesting.”
The website allows visitors to locate the hair salons nearest to them by submitting their street address and zip code. The site features a large database of articles about hair styling and grooming. Some of the new features include a brief video tour of certain sponsored beauty salons displayed on the front page of the site.
Featured salons are charged $150 per month to be included prominently on the front page of the site. Sponsored salons are charged $80 per month for a slightly smaller rotating position and all other standard listings are free.
“The benefits are definitely worth the costs” said Scott Beauty Salon. “We’ve seen the difference in traffic to our website and even walk-in traffic to the salon.”
Salons interested in being included in the directory can join by visiting the website online or calling the company directly.
“Our goal is to be like the google of hair salons” said Adir Levy. “Before it’s all over we’d like to log every hair salon in the country.”
