POETRY CONTEST GIVES POETS A CHANCE TO BE PUBLISHED
Infinite Xpression Publishing offers aspiring poets a chance to win prizes,
appear in book

DETROIT, Mich. -- May 21, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- Detroit-based publisher, Infinite Xpression Publishing, has announced a nationwide poetry contest. In addition to winning prizes the aspiring poets have a chance at having their work appear in the Infinite Xpression Poetic Vibe Series compilation book later this year.

“As a company, we want to continually invest in the future of aspiring authors/poets by encouraging them to express themselves creatively,” said Shannon Wilson, Associate Publisher, with Infinite Xpression Publishing. “This opportunity gives aspiring poets a chance to potentially see their poem in appear in print.”

Contest is open to adults ages 18 and older, open only to writers whose submitted works have not been previously published. In addition to cash and prizes for the grand prize and first runners up, two hundred and twenty winners will also have their poems published in the compilation book.

Eligibility

1. Contest is open to adults ages 18 and older. Open only to writers whose submitted works have not been previously published. Employees of Infinite Xpression Publishing, its affiliates and members of their families and households are not eligible.

Submission Requirements

1. Contest is open to adults ages 18 & older residing in the United States and Canada.
2. There is a $20.00 entry fee for each submission. There is no limit on the number of submissions an individual may submit.
3. Infinite Xpression Publishing will not consider submissions that include vulgar profanity, graphic sex scenes or extreme violence.
4. All submissions must be typed, with a maximum of 30 lines, and a maximum of 60 characters per line. All submissions must include the title of the poem; the author’s name, address, email address, and telephone number(s).
5. All submissions must be received electronically via email, or by mail or mail to: Infinite Xpression Publishing 17209 Mack #355 Detroit, MI 48224, from May 15, through June 30, 2007 but must include $20.00 entry fee. 6. Poems sent to Infinite Xpression Publishing may not be submitted to any other publisher or publication while under consideration.
