Number plates competition – Win an iPod!
August 15, 2007
August 15, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --How often do you see cars with personalised number plates whilst out driving? The more eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that their popularity is ever increasing with more and more drivers wanting to give their vehicle their very own personal touch.

Numberplates.com, the UK’s largest number plates resource are capitalising on this growing trend by offering one lucky winner the chance to win an iPod Nano for simply sending in pictures of personalised plates. The winner will be drawn entirely at random, so the more number plates you submit, the greater your chance of winning!

The iPod Nano has been a revelation to music lovers, allowing you to keep up to 2,000 music tracks in your pocket, where you can listen to them at the touch of a button. The iPod Nano is also able to store notes and contacts, so you can even use it as a mini-organiser. The iPod Nano allows you to organise your music by artist, genre, and many other criteria, and even incorporates album art - allowing you to view the cover of the album you are listening to. Retailing at well over £100, it really is a top-notch prize for sending in a couple of photographs!

Photographs can be taken at the side of a road, on a public highway, or in a public car park. We respectfully ask entrants to observe the law when taking part in this competition, and ask that you do not take photographs of cars on private land, in private car parks, or on the owner’s driveway. Doing so could land you in hot water!

Please note that you should refrain from taking pictures with a mobile phone unless the quality is similar to that of a dedicated digital camera, and photographs should be sent in their original digital form. Please avoid cropping or edit photographs before sending. The photographs must also clearly show the car and number plate, and be free of people posing with the car.

The original closing date for the competition was set to be November 30th 2007, but after an astonishing response so soon after launching the competition, this has been extended to December 31st 2007, after which a winner will be chosen and awarded with his or her brand new iPod Nano.
