New iPod Accessory Offers Clever Design with a Promotional Punch
Take a large colorful wristband combine it with a functional iPod case, blend it with the holding capability of an average wallet, and sprinkle in the ability to add promotional text and images and you have the iBand.
Originally developed as a fashion accessory, this one of a kind invention takes carrying your iPod to the next level by offering multiple colors, styles, and opportunities to make it your own. Developed by the lead singer of the band Stonetaped as a way to carry his iPod, while promoting his group, this accessory is now headed for the mass market.
“People kept asking me, where can I get one of those, that’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! After some careful consideration, I decided to get it mass produced, yet keep it unique so that everyone could make it their own.” Explains Antonio Stewart, the Executive Chairman for Neo Innovative Solutions and developer of the iBand.
While the iPod might be the most popular portable multi media device on the market, there has always been a lack of suitable, fashionable accessories for it. The iBand comes in multiple color ways, patterns, and sizes. It can be used as a promotional device as well, by acting as a canvas for band names, brand names, and advertisements.
“What kept me thinking this was a winning idea was that there weren’t any good iPod holders on the market. I mean ones that hold your iPod on your body, without looking like you have to go do a set on the bench press.” Notes Antonio Stewart in regards to his new invention.
The iBand has pending patent with the U.S. Patent Office, patent # 60/894,644. The soon to be household name is available for sale on the website www.officialibands.com.
“This is something I’ve always wanted to do. Invent something meaningful, that would help people with an everyday problem and at the same time keep them looking like rock stars all day long.” Explains Stonetaped front man and iBand founder Antonio Stewart.
