New Colorado Mountain Art Gallery Looking for Artists to Literally Fill Spaces Between the Trees

Apr 26, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --  VonDolce Studios photographers Kate Levy and Von Dolce are organizing an imaginative gallery event to benefit the Nederland Colorado mountain community and local artists alike. Their new e-gallery, Spaces Between Trees will launch on August 11th with a live Moulin Rouge –esc style event. This all day festivity is in part sponsored by the Nederland Chamber of Commerce at the Sundance Lodge Event Center, where the natural elements that make up the surrounding forest will play host to both established and newly emerging artistic talent.

This year’s theme is “Beauty in Negative Space”. A curator’s challenge and dream, where all art mediums and genres are integrated to provide fun for the artists and the galleries guests. Visual artists will exhibit their work with the option to showcase their talent through live demonstrations. Improvisational dancers will slither like cats in the forest, culinary artists will shuffle their skillets offering tasty organic food delights to all that attend, and musicians will delight the ears of the gallery’s guests. A private healing arts garden will offer and showcase the talents of those in the spiritual arts. Plus, with enough interest from local fim-makers and videographers, an outdoor theatre will be set up to showcase their work, too.

The best artists chosen from the live event, will be offered a full promotional package by SBT gallery for up to 1 year. Sales for the artist will be a result of SBT’s committed effort in direct media advertising, postcard mailers, on-line art blogs, dedicated e-gallery space, and discounted access to professional video and photographic services by VonDolce Studios. To further the artists visibility in the media, Tate Nova, an independent producer from New York City will be here to film the event.

So, if you are a local visual artist, sculptor, musician, chef, performance artist, healing artist, film maker, etc, and have a unique talent to share, please submit your work to the Spaces Between Trees Gallery by downloading the submission guidelines at www.vondolce.com or call the curator at 303-304-9341. Be sure to apply soon as the deadline for applications is June 8th, 2007. A $5 submission fee is required from all artists who are serious about participating.
