May 02, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- How did an unexpected rain storm lead to an idea for a new SUV camping product? "It all comes down to necessity," says Magna-Screen inventor Jeffrey Gray, "some ideas are born of an immediate need and this is one of them." Mr. Gray describes how, while camping one night in Virginia, the zipper of his tent failed leaving the interior open to the elements.

Forced by a sudden and intense rainstorm to seek shelter in his SUV, Mr. Gray found the experience to be stifling. "I could either roll down the windows and get eaten alive by bugs, or I could roll them up and suffocate. There was no getting comfortable. I just kept thinking that there ought to be a something I could stick over the windows." Upon finding that no such product was on the market, Mr. Gray quickly designed one to meet his need. Thus, the Magna-Screen was born.
"It was like in a cartoon when the little light bulb goes off over a persons head. I just couldn’t believe they weren’t already available." Mr. Gray added.

Simplicity and Durability:
