Dec 03, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --(LOS ANGELES, CA) – It's official! Sabrina signs with multi-platinum publicist Jonathan Hay.
“In my ten years of experience in this industry I've never come across such a versatile artist like Sabrina…” – Jonathan Hay
Jonathan Hay of the worldwide conglomerate Ringz & Partners Entertainment enters into a personal exclusive publicity agreement with up-and-coming artist, Sabrina. Hay has generated publicity in such esteemed media as MTV, VH1, Fox News, CNN, Rolling Stone Magazine, Billboard, Spin Magazine, XXL Magazine, People, USA Today, The National Examiner, etc.
Hay, in conjunction with Ringz & Partners Entertainment, represents high profile artists such as RZA (Wu-Tang Clan) and the international representation for FOCUS (Dr. Dre's protégé and only exclusively signed Aftermath producer). Among a myriad of clients, Ringz & Partners is also directly affiliated with Wu-Tang Corp. which oversees many of the business operations for the Wu-Tang Clan, one of the most successful Hip-Hop groups of all time.
Before joining forces with Ringz & Partners Entertainment in 2003, Hay assisted in several business aspects, primarily publicity, for the multi-platinum rock group Days of the New. Days of the New (Outpost/Geffen/Interscope) exploded into the music scene with the massive single "Touch, Peel, and Stand" which remained #1 on Billboard for a record-breaking 18 weeks! That #1 hit was soon followed by five other hit radio singles including "Shelf in the Room," "The Downtown," "Enemy," "Weapon and the Wound," and "Hang On To This."
Hay aided the publicity campaign for Rihanna's (Def Jam) first smash single "Pon de Replay" with producer Vada Nobles. Hay and Nobles were solely responsible for originally breaking the story of Rihanna on MTV News which helped raise the awareness of this R&B superstar.
Hay followed that success and continued with Nobles to promote Angie Stone (J Records) on her single "I Wasn't Kidding," and most recently on Hilary Duff's (Hollywood Records) first single "With Love" off her fourth studio album Dignity.
"I remember meeting producer Vada Nobles in a Starbucks in Orlando, Florida as we discussed the then-unknown artist Rihanna. Vada [Nobles] and I personally came up with an effective publicity strategy that helped break Rihanna into the mainstream masses with her first chart-topping single 'Pon De Replay'. The first time I heard about Rihanna I knew she was going to be a superstar and I get that same feeling with Sabrina. In my ten years of experience in this industry I've never come across such a versatile artist like Sabrina; not only does she have the artistic qualities of a superstar but she also encompasses the savvy and intellect of a business woman and entrepreneur." – Jonathan Hay
Sabrina, a new force in the music industry, transcends the musical barriers of R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop genres to cultivate a dynamic new blend of sound. Having partnered up with publicity mogul Jonathan Hay, Sabrina is the next artist destined to become a household name. Assisting Hay with the creation of this superstar is Greg “4orty” Bowman and Teddy Riley’s company Buck and a Dream. Hay is also in talks with Lee Davis, Spike Lee’s business partner, to direct the video for Sabrina’s first single “Vulnerable” which features hip-hop artist Lucy Diamonds.
Beyond publicity for Sabrina, Hay is also the executive producer for her debut album, No Rose Petals and Bubble Baths, to be released in 2008. For constantly updated info on Sabrina, visit www.myspace.com/officialsabrinamusic or www.shoutlife.com/officialsabrina
