Michelin Star for Hotel Restaurant in Taormina, Sicily
December 10, 2007
Dec 10, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --San Domenico Palace in Sicily has been awarded a well-deserved Michelin star for its restaurant Principe Cerami.

The restaurant is named after the Sicilian noble who, in 1866, came into possession of the Dominican monastery in an old, long-hidden will, and converted it into a hotel. Principe Cerami offers guests the best of the Sicilian gastronomic tradition, using the freshest ingredients and the most delicate of flavours. The culinary artistry of the talented chef, Massimo Mantarro, has established the Principe Cerami as one of the most highly acclaimed restaurants in Taormina. Magnificent sea views add to the restaurant's appeal.

Dating from 1400 and built around a monastery, this award-winning hotel occupies a spectacular location in Taormina. The palace is surrounded by gardens filled all year with delightful flowers, whilst the views from the terrace and pool take in an ancient Greek theatre and the peak of Mt Etna.

Visit San Domenico Palace between 5 January and 18 March 2008 and get 4 nights for the price of 3 with Cox & Kings. A four-night break costs £595 per person including flights with British Airways, private transfers and B&B accommodation in a de luxe sea view room. The price includes a meal at Principe Cerami.
