Medical Device Management Certificate Program
Prepare for a career in an innovative and emerging industry

Oct 22, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --The School of Continuing Education Certificate Program in Medical Device prepares participants for access to management-level employment into the medical device industry or a promotion to higher level management. The certificate program focuses on overview and trends of the industry while providing practical hands-on instruction. There are no prerequisites required in enroll in the program or individual workshops.

The program consists of eight-hour workshops that provide practical real-world solutions to everyday work issues. The diverse hands-on applications presented by professional experts make this certificate unique and rewarding. In addition to successful completion of four workshops, participates must also successfully complete a certification exam to earn the program certificate of completion offered by the North Orange County College District School of Continuing Education.

The following four workshops are now offered:

• Introduction & Overview-The Medical Device Industry
• Fundamentals of GMP /Clean Room and QSR
• Overview of FDA's Medical Device Quality System Regulation
• Quality System/ISO 13485:2003
• Certification Overview & Exam (Exam date to be arranged)

Each workshop is scheduled from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and will be conducted at the NOCCCD Anaheim Campus, 1830 W. Romneya Dr., Anaheim 92801

For 2007-08, this training will be offered on -going basis and offered every month .
