Haiku Poetry Contest New!


GUIDELINES:
Limit 4 Haiku (5, 7, 5) poems per entry. There is no limit to the amount of entries. Experienced haiku writers need not follow the syllable count. Free format haiku is preferred. Seeking high quality haiku poetry. Please no simultaneous submissions or previously published work. Entries accepted online or by snail mail with cover letter. If entering online, type "Haiku Contest" in subject line to avoid deletion. Paypal payments accepted by clicking on the link below.

Winner will be posted on website.
Please send a cover letter via snail mail with your name, brief bio, address, email, phone and title of your work along with your anonymous submission and title or send 2 copies of your haiku, typed or neatly written on 3x5 index cards. Include contact info on the back of one card. Confirmation will be sent by email once payment has been received. Accepts payments by check and money order (only), payable to:
"Lyrical Passion Entertainment, LLC."
Entry fee is non-refundable. No attachments please. Requires one time electronic rights.

HAIKU/ SENRYU CORNER ( publication )

Seeking strong Haiku and Senryu poetry. We want lasting images that will bring readers back. Following the (5,7,5) syllable count is not a must, we would rather you concentrate on the power of your imagery and stylistic devices eg. alliteration, rhythm and resonance. Please send no more than 5 Haiku/ Senryu poems at a time. All entries must be in English (or German – with English translation if both pieces are your original works). Requires one time electronic rights. Please no simultaneous submissions- previously published are considered. Rights revert to author upon publication. No reading fee.
