KING'S GRADUATE TALKS SHOP WITH FELLOW ALUMNI

It began as an ordinary family function when Paul Swiderski, his wife and three children went to the annual King's College Alumni Association's breakfast with Santa. After his kids sat on Santa's lap and opened their presents, several alumni began talking politics with him.

"I was quite surprised when people came up to me and asked if I were the grad running for Congress. The conversations were brief. Most of the time it was just people wishing me luck in the race. A few others asked me about my policies and opinions, mainly about the War in Iraq, tax reform and the future direction of this country," said Paul. "It was great to see such support. It was even better to step foot on the campus again."

Paul Swiderski, a self-employed accountant and small business consultant, is vying for the republican nomination for Congress (PA-10) in this April's primary. Other candidates looking to oust first time incumbent Chris Carney include Dan Meuser, the president and co-owner of Pride Mobility Products in Exeter; Donald J. Ely, a retired high school teacher from Sunbury; and Chris Hackett, owner of OneSource Staffing Solutions.
