New York, NY - - 08/01/2007

The novel Screams Beneath Pandora, first published in 2005 has made slow progress with mainstream New York. In it's debut, Screams Beneath Pandora was kindly received by New York's BDSM community. But, the novel hasn't given up on finding acceptance amid a main stream audience.

Author Misty Lara Prendville has lived most of her life on Long Island. A suicide attempt survivor at the age of 10 years old, now a 43 year old woman, shares her unique world view through her novels.

Living without medical insurance and refusing any attempts at prescription medicine, the writing is spurred on by trips to New York's famous Dungeons. The novels are written in between the author's bouts of depression. The trips are curtailed these days, due to the author's developing Type 2 diabetes.

Stretching boundaries through Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, SciFi, and Paranormal Romance, Screams Beneath Pandora flips the normals; pitting the Emperor of a Galactic Realm steeped in Magic and Technology against an order of deposed Aristocratic Rulers. The Emperor here is the good guy and the rebels are the deposed self interested groups.

Misty Lara grew up in a house hold of mixed descent. Including Irish, Italian, and Hungarian, in this recipe female voices and opinions count for least value. It isn't strange then, within the 'Screams Beneath Pandora' universe, a gender ratio of 5 men to 1 woman add value to the women in this society.

The novel 'Screams Beneath Pandora' ISBN-13: 978-0615135441is available through BarnesandNoble.com and the 'Paddles Club' online store. The Volume work 'Screams Beneath Pandora' is also offered in published serialized character editions. 'Garren Waysixth' ISBN-13: 978-1430315568 and 'Care Ethaynen' ISBN-13: 978-1430314790.
