Intertsellar Expo voting begins for Global Artists

LOS ANGELES, California - Apr 18, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ -- Interstellar Enterprises, Inc., the marketing powerhouse behind the Interstellar Expo, the international street culture exhibition, has announced today the opening of online voting for the 2007 International Design & Illustration Awards. It will be the largest creative awards ceremony devoted solely to the urban artform in global street culture today.

The art industry at large and purveyours of style and street couture, are invited to cast their nominations for their favorite artists online by visiting www.interstellarexpo.com before midnight of May 17, 2007. The award nominations are reserved strictly for designers, illustrators, graffiti writers and artists of the urban canvas.

This year there are 26 different categories including: Illustrator of the Year; Designer of the Year; Conceptualist of the Year; International Artist of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement in Urban Art.

Recommendations are based on several factors: Concept and Design Methodologies, Originality, Style, Innovation, Influence, Branding and Identity, Character Design, Composition, Impact, and Range.

The official awards dinner and ceremony is set to take place on the final evening of the Interstellar Expo on July 8, 2007 in Hollywood.
