ICS Software, Ltd., SammyUSA Introduces Real Time Complete Eligibility and Claim Status Via Internet

Dec 20, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --To get immediate eligibility results it requires just a click of a button on the patient’s chart. To check claim status the user selects the claim and receives immediate results. The data that claim status gives is valuable. This data consists of: amount of payment of the claim, check number and check issue date.

Some features that will become available in the future consist of Sammy utilizing the appointment calendar to check commercial eligibility (currently Sammy checks the appointment calendar for Medicare eligibility). When this feature is active Sammy will look ahead in the appointment calendar and let the user know who is not eligible. Another feature that will be made available will be batch checking for claim status. Sammy will look for all the outstanding balances and submit requests for claim status all in one step. The user will be notified about the claim status of each claim.

For those customers who currently do not have the Medicare eligibility feature in Sammy it is just as easy to get. The customer must give call the sales department to participate in this new feature.
