Hot off a successful Cannes Film Festival, “American Identity” to host North American premiere in At

Los Angeles, CA – May 28, 2007 – “American Identity” was successfully introduced to a world audience at the 60th Cannes Film Festival, and was met with rave reviews. “We achieved much more that we ever expected” quoted the film’s writer/producer/director Stephen Rollins. The film, which was uncompleted when screened, finished second in the Mini Movie competition. In addition, the film was featured in a closing night screening and received a standing ovation.

Now, the film is set to make its North American premiere to an exclusive audience in Atlanta, GA, hometown to Mr. Rollins. The event will benefit the Andy Transplant Foundation (www.andytransplantfoundation.org).

The prestigious list of attendees includes 7 Academy Award winners, 11 Academy Award nominees, many A-list actors and actresses, producers, directors, and a former President and First Lady of the United States.

The event will take place at the Landmark Midtown Arts Cinema in Atlanta, GA on Thursday, June 7th, with the Red Carpet arrivals beginning at 7:30 p.m. The event will be covered live on television and simulcast online, hosted by Susan Thompson (www.thesusanthompsonshow.com). Because of the International success at the Cannes Film Festival, there will be media from 4 countries also in attendance. This is a truly special event not to be missed.
