Starting June 1st, travel agents can enjoy a 5% bonus commission when booking at select Hawthorn Suites hotels around the nation. With the initiative, bonus commissions are valid on all standard commissionable rates, seven days a week, for travel agency reservations booked and consumed during the period June 1, 2007 through August 31, 2007. Hawthorn Suites is the all-suites, extended stay hotel brand with 99 hotels open or under construction across the U.S., Africa, Australia, Dubai, Kuwait and Turkey.
“We’re proud to offer our travel agent partners an added incentive bonus as our way of saying thank you for supporting Hawthorn Suites,” said David Kemp, Vice President and Brand Manager for Hawthorn Suites. According to Kemp, the new summer program is a preview of an ongoing quarterly initiative that the brand will offer to travel agents.
Agents simply book a qualifying rate for the promotion period at any of the hotels listed below using an approved GDS provider, hawthorn.com or 1-800-527-1133 and include their designated IATA number. The added bonus is in addition to the standard 10% commission rate and will be payable to travel agents through Hawthorn Suites’ Central Commission Processing Agency, Perot Systems’ Travel Agency Commission Settlement Program (TACS). All pre-existing commission agreements that are tied to a negotiated commission level including affiliate marketing programs, the FedRooms.com government travel program and all local hotel commission override agreements are exempt from the bonus commission program.
