HALL OF FAME OPENS FOR EVERYDAY PEOPLE
September 17th, 2007 Sep 20, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --Winston-Salem, NC
Gigantic Brain Omnimedia announces the launch of their newest website, The Hall of Awesomeness. The Hall of Awesomeness was created to honor the remarkable people, places and things in the world. For just $1 users can induct someone (or something) into the Hall and have him or her (or it) declared Officially Awesome.
Ross & Sophie Mihalko, the founders of GBO, were inspired to create the Hall of Awesomeness while living in Los Angeles, California. The idea came to them in the middle of the seemingly endless award season when the celebrities were busy celebrating themselves. “Wouldn’t it be great to have a Hollywood Walk of Fame for everyday people?” It was clear to the couple that the world was full of incredible persons that deserved to be recognized: coaches & teachers, friends & family, spouses & children, classmates & co-workers, and so they set out to create The Hall of Awesomeness to honor all of the amazing people in their lives, and allow others the same opportunity. People can also induct their favorite bands, sports team, reality TV contestants, etc. Inductees receive a star in the Awesome Universe and a personalized web page where testimonials to their awesomeness and photos can be posted. For people who wish to send something physical, a certificate that declares the inductee “Officially Awesome” can be purchased for an additional $4.
The Hall of Awesomeness was formally launched on September 11th, 2007 and can be visited at www.HallOfAwesomeness.com. Ross and Sophie Mihalko (founders) can be reached at their Winston-Salem, NC offices at: 336-793-0960. |
