‘GRIEFCASE’BLOG BECOMES A LEADING WEBSITE RESOURCE

Dec 18, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --“The story of Griefcase is one of love and passion. After my husband died I found myself alone and sad. I couldn't eat, …sleep, …or stop crying. I felt ashamed, embarrassed, and I thought I was crazy. There was no one to turn to…I turned to the internet in search of a safe place to chat about the man I had buried, the man I adored. And I found no such place existed. Recalling His dying words, ‘...Keep writing. Do it for me,’ a seed was planted and Griefcase was born.” Della Donna explained. “That’s why I always include a tag to my name "And sometime when I wasn't looking, I got a new life. I was starting from scratch a conceptual service that no one else was offering and the blog has grown so much, it was necessary to convert it to a website.”
The new website offers a forum where people are able to ask questions, seek resources and other types of important services. Della Donna also offers an E-Book, “Mourning Joy” for download that further assists those going through the grief process. Linda Della Donna also states that new services and features to the website will be implemented soon.

IN ADDITION TO NEW WEBSITE, GRIEFCASE BECOMES A NON-PROFIT
Griefcase, Inc. was also incorporated and designated a non-profit by the state of New York. The non-profit has already begun making their presence known by organizing charitable events such as “Walk with Karen” which raised monetary donations in memory of Karen Doty, a local hospice nurse who passed away recently. Ms. Doty befriended Linda Della Donna when she became nurse to her late husband, Edward Sclier more than three years ago. The funds were donated to a local hospice of where she worked before her death.
