WHAT: The Laolagi Family Home Build Event sponsored by Folger’s Gourmet Selections
WHEN: Thursday, September 20th
8:00 am to 12:00 noon

WHERE: Build Site of Jimmy Carter Work Project 2007

WHY: The Laolagi family of eight has been living in a dilapidated 2 bedroom home in Carson for ten years. Since July 31 consumers visiting wakeupspecial.com have been encouraged to create their own Folgers Gourmet Selections commercial about what makes their morning special. Each time someone submitted a commercial or voted on their favorite submission, Folgers Gourmet Selections made a $1 donation to Habitat for Humanity. P&G Coffee has already pledged $150,000 to Habitat for Humanity New Orleans and hopes to raise an additional $150,000 for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles through wakeupspecial.com for a total contribution of $300,000.
