Gregg Selected For Top Position With California Space Education & Workforce Institute

Pasadena, CA – The California Space Education and Workforce Institute (CSEWI) and its sister organization the California Space Authority (CSA) announced today Jack Gregg as the new Executive Director for CSEWI.

“Dr. Gregg shined,” said CSA Executive Director Andrea Seastrand, “and that was not easy to do among such a great selection of candidates. In the final analysis, it was his rich experience with educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, and his entrepreneurial spirit, and knowledge of working professional needs within the aerospace industry that attracted us to him.”

For the past three years, Dr. Gregg worked for Northrop Grumman Space Technology where he was their founding dean of Space Park Academy of Continuing Education (SPACE) university. In over 15 years, he earned a national reputation for creating and managing successful professional development programs designed for leaders and working professionals. He has served as the Assistant Dean of Continuing Education and Director of the MBA program for Cal State Long Beach; and as the Director, Office of Executive Education and Director of the Executive MBA program at UC Irvine. In addition, he is a published writer, consultant, leadership coach, and an often-requested speaker. He is projected to begin his new duties later this month.

“He has substantial skills and experience,” added Seastrand. “Yet, what makes him a wonderful choice is his passion that motivates all the lives he touches.”

Dr. Gregg has an Ed.D. in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University, a MBA from University of California, Irvine, and a BA from the University of Miami. He recently completed a chapter for a book titled, “The Next Generation of the Corporate University” to be published this year.
