Budapest, December 12, 2007 – Helgi Mar Hallgrímsson of Arkthing has won a free commercial license of ArchiCAD 11 as the winner of the November drawing of the “BIM Experience Kit” competition.

“In the past, I have only used 2D CAD software for drafting and specialized 3D Software for modeling. Exporting back and forth between programs has always been a frustrating, time consuming process and often produces unpredictable results,” said Helgi Mar Hallgrímsson, Architect of Arkthing (http://www.arkthing.is/), Reykjavik, Iceland. “Being able to use a single software package for both 2D and 3D is something I have been interested in for some time.
