Grand High Teams Up With K-Swiss to unveil the Grand High Ladner

Nov 02, 2007 -- /prbuzz/ --WASHINGTON, DC, Nov. 1 -- K-Swiss proudly unveils the newest edition to the K-Spray artist collaborated shoes. Washington, DC-based sneaker and lifestyle brand Grand High (www.myspace.com/grandhigh), has teamed up with K-Swiss to create a new limited edition of their Ladner shoe called "The Grand High Ladner". Grand High was the featured artist during the second K-Spray tour throughout Asia and the sensation caused by Grand High’s kicks led to the design and production of the Grand High Ladner. The design being bold in both color and design, follows such kicks from artists Logan Hicks and Sixten in 2006. With a twist at every seam and turn of the shoe, the debut of this shoe has been a work in progress over the past year by Grand High.
The K-Swiss Ladner is a casual men's shoe that offers a variety of upper combinations including leather, nubuck/leather or leather/tweed. The Grand High Ladner is a fresh take on the classic court shoe featuring premium materials and contrasting color pops to create a definite attention grabber. Quintin "Q" Jefferson, the creative force behind Grand High states "I selected the materials, sketched out a few ideas and got the colors I liked. Then I picked the croc and ostrich print leather to enhance the overall look of the shoe".
Launching on November 1st in Asia, 350 pairs of the Grand High Ladner will only be available in K-Swiss concept stores in Seoul, Taipei, Tokyo and a handful of selected shops in the US. Adding further to the exclusivity of the shoe, a limited edition Grand High T-shirt will be included with the packages in Asia.
