GlobalOilWatch.com Highlights Energy Security with Video Campaign

For Immediate Release-

Tulsa, OK – 01/08/08

The online energy news and research portal GlobalOilWatch.com has launched their 2008 Video Campaign to raise energy issue awareness. On their webpage, visitors will find links to their new video series hosted on You Tube.

This is the website’s first venture into online video. “We’re excited about using this new medium to promote awareness of about the events of the international energy market. Since we’re an internet based service, establishing a presence on You Tube seemed to be a natural progression,” said Jason Reimbold, founder of GlobalOilWatch.com. Currently, the website has posted two 30 second videos on their You Tube Channel. One video highlights current supply and demand issues, while the other video is about the geopolitics of energy. Reimbold said, “Supply and demand issues, in addition to geopolitical instability, are having an immense impact on energy security. Our video series will help to inform viewers about these issues.”

In 2007, the website underwent several changes to content including the addition of new pages dedicated to geopolitical news and alternative energy. The video series is the first content addition for 2008. “We are continually striving to deliver the best product to our readers. The launch of this new video campaign is one more value added service,” Reimbold explained.

Since 2005, GlobalOilWatch.com has provided real-time oil & gas news, industry reports, and related research materials for analysts, students, and investors worldwide. In addition to energy news, GlobalOilWatch.com offers an extensive research library of industry reports and presentations. With topics ranging from governmental policies to peak-oil, the website’s research section provides visitors with quick access to leading research.
