CHESTER HEIGHTS, PA – Redesigns by Durkin will offer a special “Pink” Beau Tie Bag for sale each month September through December 2007. All proceeds will be donated to The Pink Ladies of Delaware County. They distribute “comfort bags” to those diagnosed with breast cancer and work to raise awareness about the disease.
The Pink Ladies of Delaware County is a non-profit organization established by two breast cancer survivors who met in 2001 while undergoing treatment for breast cancer at the Delaware County Regional Cancer Center.
The Pink Ladies are changing the lives of women using their own experiences to help cancer patients become survivors.
Redesigns by Durkin Beau Tie Bag A Month for Charity is creating special, one-of-a-kind “Pink” Beau Tie Bags for this special fundraising event. Each bag is completely recreated from men’s collectible, recycled neck ties; each has pockets, lined seams, and a zipper closure. Each Beau Tie Bag is unique, bold, sophisticated and makes a great gift. No two pieces are the same. Each bag is also created with love, passion, and heart inspired from everything that has touched our lives including cancer. This is why Redesigns by Durkin is teaming up with “The Pink Ladies” to raise money to educate and fight breast cancer by offering a different “Pink” Beau Tie Bag each month.
