Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 7:00 PM the Weatherfords, Wayne Landes & Southland and Range Riders, will perform LIVE, in FREE concert at First Baptist Church of Fontana, 17244 Randall Avenue Fontana, CA..

The Weatherfords, are famous for their smooth, rich harmonies in Gospel Music. Their performance also includes Southern Gospel, Western and Bluegrass music in a comical Branson style show format.

The Weatherfords have received numerous awards in 60 years of music which include, female entertainer of the year, favorite mixed (vocal) group, life-time achievement award and the living legend awards. In 2000 Earl and Lily Weatherford were inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The Weatherfords are regularly seen on the popular Bill Gaither Homecoming TV shows.

Also appearing, Wayne Landes and Southland. This Christian Country Group, based out of Fontana, CA, has been making music for over 20 years. Their music is uplifting and encouraging. Their songs range from traditional to contemporary, but all with a country flavor with a little comedy thrown in. Wayne Landes, lead singer and songwriter for the band was born, raised and currently resides in Fontana.

Range Riders will join in to round out this evening of music. Members of Range Riders have shared the stage with many top name performers including Country Star, David Frizzell, Roy Clark, Steel Guitarist Al Petty, James Blackwood and the Blackwood Brothers, Max Crook, (CO-writer of the 1960's Del Shannon hit Runaway), Vern Jackson and a host of celebrity entertainment from across the nation and around the world. They are the featured artists in the new Palm Springs attraction, Cowboy Dinner Theater produced by Silver West Entertainment, Inc..

These groups are appearing in this free concert to help promote a big Gospel Music show coming to the Inland Empire this fall, produced in part by, GospelReunion.com, called “California Gospel Music Celebration.” Promoters say, “We haven’t seen anything like this in California in over 20 years!”

The seats on April 28, 2007 are free, on a first-come first-serve basis. Donations will be received to offset the evening’s event. CDs & recordings available for sale at the concert as well as an opportunity to meet and greet VIPs and entertainers.

The event will be held at First Baptist Church of Fontana 17244 Randall Avenue, Fontana, CA.. Doors open at 6:00 PM the concert starts at 7:00 PM.
