Female Hip Hop Artist Khadijah Get's The Opportunity of A Lifetime

Khadijah aka "Queen of the City", will get her chance to be heard and seen by national recording label executives from Jive Records,in Cincinnati,Ohio November 30th 2007 @ popular venue Club Ritz.

The young female hip hop artist has made a huge impact into the music scene in Cincinnati. Within the last six months the female artist has been requested to perform in front of thousands of hip-hop fans by opening up for national acts such as: Rick Ross, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Boyz N Da Hood, Hurricane Chris, and others to name a few. While on her journey to obtaining exposure she has been embraced by other local artist, music directors, promoters, and DJ's. Some music fans feel that she will help restore the visibility that this rich music city has had in what some consider the days of old.

Cincinnati, is home to other artist such as: Bootsy Collins, DJ Hi-Tek, Midnight Star, The Calloway Brothers, The Deele and Arista Records CEO Antonio Reid. While Cincinnati has seen what seems to be it's turn in the emerging music business come and go, others feel that Cincinnati, Ohio's music scene is next in line for major market exposure. With that in mind the local music community are looking forward to Khadijah's rise to stardom as this could prove what many have been saying all along....That Cincinnati music is back and here to stay.

Khadijah will try to fill the cities long awaited music void by auditioning live November 30th, 2007 at Cincinnati Night Club Ritz for a Jive Records unsigned artist showcase. Khadijah knows that this is an opportunity of a lifetime and states that "She would like to be blessed to be the voice of the new music generation and show the world what Cincinnati has to offer musically. And I would like to help others out that have helped me along the way, put Cincy on the map".

Khadijah's new single "I'm a Boss" can be heard on local radio station 101.1fm WIZFM, as she has just entered the top 8 at 8 music countdown. With all the current success that she is receiving Khadijah says that she understands that their is still more work to do, to prove that she has what it takes to make a career out of the music business.
